Orla has a passion for travel and experiences. From picking seasonal strawberries at the local apple farm to surfing waves on the west coast of Ireland, you’ll find Orla exploring and enjoying the best of what Ireland has to offer with her family. A fan of hiking and the outdoors, she’s recently fallen in love with the beautiful West Cork coastline after spending the most amazing 24 hrs in Courtmacsherry. She spent a full day on a deserted beach in the most stunning location rock fishing and swimming with her kids which was for her the perfect day.

Other family adventures she’d recommend include a day trip to the Aran Islands to take a guided tour on a pony and trap with Fionn, the most knowledgeable and entertaining guide ever! She especially loved visiting the wormhole and hiking up to Dun Aonghusa followed by an Irish coffee on the pier.

Her other great passion is cooking, which means she’s an expert at recommending great places to eat (her absolute fav? Out of the Blue in Dingle for Seafood fresh from the Ocean – worth the drive) – she’s also worked at some of the top 5 star properties in Ireland, so she’ll happily point you in the direction of her favourite places to stay in Ireland – 1. Hayfield Manor for being like a home away from home and always giving us the best welcome and for having simply the best team in Ireland. 2. Ashford Castle for providing a little slice of heaven in the most Regal surrounds but the most humble friendly service. 3. The Merrion hotel for providing her with the best training a graduate could wish for. For the most impressive art collection, stunning rooms and delicious afternoon tea. Also for the opportunity to share a lift with Pierce Brosnan ! 🙂
